The verse we chose for this candle is Psalm 103:13 which says, "As a father has compassion on his children so the lord has compassion on those who fear Him." God loves us better than any earthly Father ever could but with a similar type of love - He sees us in our infant-like struggle and has compassion on us from a place of utter wisdom. Fearing Him means respecting and acknowledging Him as Creator and Lord, ruler of all, provider for all, and righteous, gracious judge of all. He loves those who have that kind of reverence and respect and has compassion on them (even though our efforts fall so short!). We hope this candle serves as a reminder for families and individuals everywhere who use this scent in their home.
